A 'failed' geek

I pride myself on being a bit of a geek but I can't even put a headset on!

I have two headsets- one set fits behind my head and the microphone looks ever so call centre, the other set fits over the crown of my head like Pilot Dan and it has wonderful adjustment possibilities on the left microphone setting.
so I'm not surprised you get confused.(look at the picture on the package!!!!)

How Fun Susan -- and I confess, I've had a similar problem with some of the headsets I've bought and tried over the years ... all seemed like a good idea at the time. Right now I've got the Pilot Dan version Willie mentioned but my old favorite is behind the head call center style -- very comfy and stereo! Thanks for the beautiful laughter - made my day.

You should have seen the trouble I had getting the darn thing back in its box!

My headset is broken in half but I put it on backwards!

My other headset is stuck together with Sellotape and a paper clip :)

Thanks for the giggle Sarah. I'm just pleased my computer has an inbuilt sound thing. I probably look very stupid leaning in and talking at different parts of the computer hoping to hit the microphone.
Have fun in Pakistan!

Thanks Rachel. I am really looking forward to meeting the midwives there - I am sure its going to make me realise how lucky we are with our maternity service in NZ and Australia
